These jerseys will make you look (and feel) amazing all day long

Not everyone is cut out for them, but you definitely are.

For the most part, you should never be wearing a professional sports jersey unless you’re a. at a game or b. a child. What looks good on a world class athlete doing they’re job and you going about your life are entirely different things — but every once and a while a jersey good looking enough comes around to break all the rules.

This week, one such jersey came our way courtesy of the Miami Marlins’ new threads, which got us thinking about other shirts stylish enough to warrant everyday wear. What follows are some of the rare jerseys we endorse, and encourage, you go break off a fit in.

MLB

Liverpool FC ($90)

Nike

Soccer jerseys benefit in style points from a yearly a revamp and the fact that you can buy one without a name or number. If your team’s current uniform sucks, just wait a year and the next one might be better. For Liverpool, though, the ‘20-’21 Away kit will be hard to top for a while.

Nike

Philadelphia Phillies ($135)

Dick's Sporting Goods

Historically speaking, this is one of the best looking baseball jerseys of all-time — and the Phillies are smart enough not to let it languish in its archives.

Dick's Sporting Goods

Arizona Coyotes ($130)

Hockey jerseys from the ‘90s are some of the coolest you’ll ever see, and the fact that they’re more of a sweater make ‘em even easier to pull off. The Arizona Coyotes wore this very regional shirt for the team’s debut season, and we’re glad it’s made its return this season as an alternate.

Dick's Sporting Goods

Oakland Raiders ($120)

NFL Store

Unless you were born in one of the three cities the Raiders have played in, you’ve probably been conditioned to hate them. But you have to admit, the team’s black and silver aesthetic is elite wherever they play.

NFL Store

Manchester City ($90)

Puma

Paisley on a professional soccer kit? On paper it sounds crazy — but on the pitch, and everywhere else, it looks fantastic.

Puma

Anaheim Ducks ($180)

NHL Store

Even if you don’t have a rooting interest in a pro hockey team, you probably rooted for the Mighty Ducks in the Disney movies. The actual Anaheim Ducks have largely moved on from its ties to films, but fortunately the team still has an alternate shirt to pay homage.

NHL Store

Juventus ($63)

Adidas

For clubs with as iconic uniforms as Juventus, it’s remarkable how they manage to find fresh ground within the same frame work each season. With its rough stripes and gold accents, it’s just a shame that this jersey wasn’t worn by a more winning team this year.
