9 things the internet thinks look exactly like the new PS5 DualSense controller

From the BMW i8 to Svedka robot, the DualSense looks like a distant cousin. It also looks like a damn Xbox controller.

This year Sony unveiled the PlayStation 5's DualSense controller. The white and black controller has some impressive new tech like more advanced haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, a built-in microphone, and a new "Create" button.

While some fans bemoaned the DualSense's departure from the PlayStation's DualShock controllers, most couldn't help but laugh at all the things it might have been inspired by.

It's hard to ignore the similarities between the DualSense and the BMW i8, which debuted as a concept in 2009 and was released as a plug-in hybrid in 2014. The color scheme is on point.

The Input team immediately thought of the Svedka sexy robot campaign that attracted controversy back in 2013.

And why doesn't it come in black? These fan-made colorways by Dominic Nguyen are fire. Especially the silver version that throws it back to the original PS1 color scheme.

Mostly, though, let's be real: the DualSense looks like an Xbox One controller. The positioning of the thumbsticks is different and there's a touchpad, but the DualSense is a traditional gamepad through and through.

The DualSense 5 is literally like when Goku and Vegeta fused together into Gogeta.
